ABOUT US
BigTree Behavioral Health Services draws our inspiration from the mighty Giant Sequoia. From a seed no larger than a speck, the Sequoia it grows into the largest tree on earth —towering over 300 feet tall and reaching more than 30 feet in diameter. Though each tree produces millions of their tiny, miraculous seeds each year, very few of them germinate and even fewer grow to great heights. It is only at the precise moment when conditions are just so that the seed is able to reach upward and outward towards its potential.
Sequoias also thrive through connection. Their root systems, though relatively shallow, spread wide and intertwine with the roots of neighboring trees creating a network of mutual support that helps them withstand storms and endure for generations. In much the same way, human growth is strengthened through relationships. Our services are designed to foster connection, collaboration, & community while promoting personal growth and resiliency to navigate life’s challenges.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION
BigTree offers clinical supervision for Professional Counselor Associates registered with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists (OBLPCT), as well as Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) Candidates registered with the Mental Health and Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO). Supervision is provided in a supportive, collaborative, and ethically grounded environment focused on professional development, clinical skill-building, and competent, client-centered practice.
